Archeo TV is the first webtv in streaming dedicated entirely to Archeology. Our programs are in English and French.
We
aim to reflect the wealth and diversity of the world of archaeology and
to promote awareness of the importance and fragility of our
archaeological heritage.
Archeo TV shows professional and amateur films, videos as well as original material.
We use only videos with "free" licenses (Creative Commons and Free Art
Licence) and are thus in conformity with the existing copyright
legislations.
Our partners (museums, institutions) allow us to broadcast their own
videos and so contribute to the diffusion of knowledge.
Programs are geographic or thematic, organised around the
archaeological sciences and the varied aspects of our current
knowledge, recent discoveries, and key participating organisations. All
the material we present obeys the most rigorous scientific
standards. We propose the latest scientific research and aim to offer a
dynamic, accurate and up-to-date reflection of today’s
archaeological world.
However, in many fields can we find different point of view; that is
why Archeo TV remains totally neutral and is responsible in no way for
the scientific truthfulness of broadcasted videos.
The
purpose of Archeo TV is to serve all participants in the field of
archaeology by providing a platform for the global diffusion of
information.
